Lay tasks out in columns and drag them along. They stay in their lists and in Today. Drop one in a done column and it's finished everywhere.

You start it from inside the app when you're ready to add your first task, so the 14 days only begin when you want them to. Before it starts, Alcove shows how long it lasts, what pauses at the end and what the unlock costs. It's free, it includes everything, and it runs on the same dates on every device signed in to your Apple Account. It never turns into a charge: to keep going afterwards, you unlock Alcove yourself.
Your tasks and notes stay readable, you can still copy and export them, and iCloud keeps them in sync. Adding and editing, widgets, Siri and Shortcuts, and AI assistants pause until you unlock. Nothing is deleted, so unlocking picks up right where you left off.

No, there's no Alcove account. Alcove syncs through the iCloud account already on your devices, and the trial and the unlock go through your Apple Account on the App Store. Turn sync off and it works on one device only.
The tasks and their details do. The files themselves stay on the device where you added them.
Nothing until you switch the feature on and approve that assistant. You choose read, create, update or delete, and every request appears in the activity log.
